Relocating to Houston or Las Vegas

For more than 20 years I've helped medical professionals, business people and entrepreneurs relocate to Houston, especially Missouri City and Manvel, and helped people move into the Las Vegas valley. Most of my clients start this process from another city. Here's how it works.

How relocating with Lisa works

  1. 1

    A 20-minute call

Your timeline, where you will be working, your commute, schools you want to look at, and what matters in a neighborhood. From there I suggest the areas worth your time.

  2. 2

    A neighborhood shortlist

A short list of areas that fit, with recent sales, typical HOA and MUD costs, and what daily life looks like in each, so you can compare before you visit.

  3. 3

    Live video tours

I walk the homes and the streets around them for you on video and point out what the listing photos leave out. Your trip into town is for the final few, if you need one at all.

  4. 4

    Offer to closing, from anywhere

Negotiation, inspection, appraisal and the fine print handled, with every deadline tracked. Where allowed, you can sign remotely.

  5. 5

    Settling in

Utilities, movers, and local recommendations once you have the keys. If you are selling a home elsewhere, I can help coordinate the timing.

Common Questions

I am moving for a job at the Medical Center. Where should I look?
Buyers working at the Texas Medical Center often look at Missouri City, Sienna, Pearland, Manvel and Sugar Land, which connect to the Medical Center by SH-288, Beltway 8 or US-59. The right fit depends on your schedule and budget, and I will walk you through the trade-offs.
Can I buy a home without seeing it in person?
Many buyers do. Between live video tours, an inspection you can join by phone, and remote signing where allowed, you can buy confidently from another city. If you would rather see your top choices in person, I will plan one efficient trip.
Can you help me sell in one city and buy in the other?
Yes. I am licensed in Texas and Nevada, so I can sell your home in Houston and help you buy in Las Vegas, or the other way around, and keep both sides on the same timeline.
What should I budget for besides the price?
In the Houston suburbs, property taxes, MUD taxes and HOA fees can add up. In Las Vegas, many neighborhoods have one or more HOAs. I lay out the full monthly cost for each home so there are no surprises.

Wherever you are headed, a 20-minute call is the best first step.
